Excellent service from Tom of Southampton Richer Sounds

Excellent service from Tom. We explained what we wanted and he gave us advice on the best audio equipment that met our requirements. Once we had made our decision he then explained in detail how to best set the equipment up.
The order was made at approximately 1130 on a Wednesday and it all arrived at 0910 the next day by DPD - couldn’t ask for better service all round.

EXCELLENT COMPANY TO DEAL WITH MY TV HAD A FAULT AFTER FIVE YEARS,FORTUNATELY I HAD TAKEN THE SIX YEARS WARRANTY OUT.RICHER SOUNDS HAD IT REPAIRED FREE OF CHARGE MANY THANKS. ALSO PERCHED A SECOND TV RECENTLY UNFORTUNATELY IT DAMAGED ON OPENING THE BOX,AGAIN RICHER SOUNDS CHANGED THE TV NO QUIBBLE.

Another positive experience with Richer Sounds

Yet again flawless advice and service from Richer Sounds - As our item (Humax TV Recorder) wasn't in stock, we were saved the journey over to Solihull. A swift telecon sorted all our queries and assured us that the product would do all we wanted. We paid for next day delivery, and - even though we ordered on a Bank Holiday, it arrived the next day, so well done to DPD too! We've advised all our family and friends that these are the folk to go to.

The television I bought from you…

The television I bought from you approximately 6 weeks ago developed an intermittent problem with the sound. You and your staff were extremely helpful in trying to diagnose the issue.
It was finally decided to replace the television and this was done without and quibbling or argument.
You went above and beyond to sort this out and we are extremely grateful. As always your service and the way you look after customers regardless is off the scale.

Fantastic service

Fantastic service, these days it doesn't happen like this with mainstream delivery companies.
1st and E mail to say delivery window 12.30~16.00.
2nd a text to say delivery window 12.30~14.30 and requesting confirmation from me.
3rd a phone call from the driver to say they will be with us in 15 minutes.
Delivered bang on 12.30

Whilst I didn’t end up actually keeping…

Whilst I didn’t end up actually keeping the product which had nothing to do with the product or service, the experience was excellent in how the team advised and dealt with my requests. The fact I am writing this without having that product from Richer Sounds should speak volumes. Definitely use them!!

I have just purchased a television from Richer Sounds

I have just purchased a television from Richer Sounds. Richard Hayler, Senior London FSM visited my home to advise me on my best options. I chose a Panasonic television which is perfect in my new kitchen diner. Richard is very professional and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to meet him.
This is my second television purchase from Richer Sounds. Their service is always very professional for which I am really grateful.
I would also like to commend Dean who installed the television. Again very knowledgeable. A clean and thorough worker who made the process pleasurable.
I fully recommend this company. Well done Richer Sounds.

I'm nearly 70

I'm nearly 70, have pretty basic needs and understanding (I didn't know what Bluetooth is, e.g.), but staff in the shop (Fulham Rd) were really patient and helpful. I mainly play CDs and Spotify (via phone) and at first I thought I'd bought something way too sophisticated for me (it seemed more like a computer than a CD player - and it is! And I'm not great with computers. . .) I still don't get how set-up works, but CDs, HEOS etc are up and running and, with the speakers they recommended, the sound is amazing. The helpfulness extended to ensuring I got speedy delivery, and then ensuring it actually got into my hands. My old system - also bought at Richer Sounds, about 35 years ago! - is well and truly over, and I'm delighted with the new one.

Great service, good advice

We have recently purchased two items from Richer Sounds Leicester, an amp and a tv, dealing with two separate sales representatives. Both were welcoming and knowledgeable, listening to our requirements and giving us options of products. We were given the space and time to make our decisions with no pressure.

Julian Richer is public facing and believes in looking after his staff and paying fair taxes.
I first started buying blank cassettes and decks from Richer sounds Birmingham in the 1990s. last year I purchased a cartridge and this year a tv. Prices are always good. I will make it my policy to buy from Richer sounds for my audio visual as top choice. I have had enough of Big American corporations which look like a bargin but at what cost to soceity?

An observation on store pickup ordering

We ordered something on the web and requested a store pickup. Which did happen. But the emails we received about shipping got us worried initially they were going to ship direct to our home address. So maybe a bit of attention is required to the system generated order confirmation emails to make it clear that orders requested as pickups are confirmed a such. Hence the 4 stars this time.
But it's Richer Sounds.
So you feel confident about the price and service you'll get generally.
'nuff said?

Highly recommended!

Good advice and recommendations, friendly and knowledgeable service. A couple of minor issues resolved quickly and professionally. A really good, fun, expensive experience! A complete new hi-end hifi, first proper hifi in 15 years so I was relying on research and advice. Well worth the money, now I understand why people get nerdy about hifi’s!

Reasons to keep going back

I have been to Richer Sounds in Preston several times, there is a reason I keep going back. Staff in the Preston store were amazing, very friendly, personable and knowledgeable. I went in for advice on a HiFi system with specific requirements and one component I wanted. The guys in there then sorted out a system that fit all my needs and didn't try and sell me anything I didn't want or need. Outstanding service, price and experience all round.

Excellent customer service

I bought some Sennheiser headphones online from Richer Sounds in July last year. Two weeks ago, they developed an awful buzzing sound which basically meant they were unusable. I called Richer Sounds and was originally told I had to send them back to Sennheiser in Germany for tests. Then Fred stepped in and offered to replace them instead. I now have a brand new pair, chose Sennheiser again but a later model and paid the difference. Rather than sending the headphones to Germany and waiting for Sennheiser to respond, I am now enjoying my new ones. Thanks Fred!

Richer sounds found what I was looking for within 1 hour of my search, then the branch contacted me and treserved it. When I went to collect the next day, it was all wrapped up and marked as reserved for me. All payment details and VIP discounts help to make the purchase hastle free and an overall enjoyable experience. Great service as usual.

I purchased my new Television from…

I purchased my new Television from Richer Sounds. Upon getting it home, I was unable to fit the feet, after trying for over an hour I had to call the branch. They sent someone out to sort this for me, to save having to take the TV back to the branch.I was extremely grateful for their polite after sales service.

Went into the shop in Glasgow and…

Went into the shop in Glasgow and ordered myself a new AV receiver (Denon) and it was successfully delivered the following day by DPD. Friendly staff who knew their stuff and sales process was very easy. AMP also comes with a 6yr warranty.
